DJ Services
Before you get to the dance portion of the evening you need your Wedding DJ to smoothly transition the night from Grand Introductions, to Toasts, and everything in between! I pride myself on making the entire night roll smoothly and once we get to the dance portion, we turn it up to your preferences! Leading line dances, facilitating ice breakers and other wedding games. It's all up to you, and brought to life by me, Nathan!
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of having a Wedding DJ at my ceremony?
Peace of mind is the short answer! I've been to hundreds of weddings (ones I've worked and also as a guest). Having a designated person assigned to keep your wedding party in order, play your music to your specifications and handle the microphone levels can be vital if you want your special moment to go off without a hitch!
How do you describe your style?
Interactive, Engaging and Professional! From greeting guests at the door, taking requests from your wedding party and other VIP's of the night, to leading the Cupid Shuffle. I want to get all their vibes and mesh it with all your specific requests for the evening. As for my music taste, I really do love it all. I'm a sucker for the boy bands of the 90's, I love country line dances, rock and roll sing a longs, and of course the rap and hip hop jams that bring me back to my college days! But first and foremost your requests, your "Must Play" songs and your suggestions are what is mixed with the music that works at weddings to keep your dance floor packed all night.
Do you have extra equipment and/or backup plans if issues arise?
Yes, I bring spare cables, cords, and speakers with me to every event. I'm very proud to state that over the 10 years of DJing I've NEVER had to cancel on a bride due to sickness or any other emergency. Obviously after the crazy year we had in 2020, due to the pandemic, I developed a thorough back up plan in case I'm incapacitated. I have multiple experienced DJ's that I have befriended through the years and I'm able to call them a moment's notice if needed to fill in. That is a worse case scenario of course, and again, I'm happy to say hasn't happened 10 years and 500 events in!
How Do I Reserve Your Services?
To reserve Luckie Duckie Entertainment for your big day all you'll need is a deposit (50% of the total balance) and a signed contract back from you. If you're looking to get a contract sent to you click Here!
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Of course! The remaining balance isn't due until 30 days prior to your event, so we'll have plenty of time to work out the best way to budget out the remaining balance for your wedding. As a recent groom myself, I completely understand the complications and organization needed in getting certain vendors their payments on time. I want to treat my clients how I would want to be treated. Communication is key, so just keep in contact with me and we'll get it figured out before your big day is here!
How Far do you Travel?
I love traveling and visiting new cities, states, and venues! There will be no travel fee added to your estimate unless you event requires more than two hours of drive time. The exact travel fee depends on distance and how long your event may go. Some of the cities I have worked in Illinois are Effingham, Decatur, Champaign, Springfield, Robinson, Edwardsville, Maryville, Collinsville, and Alton. As for Missouri, I've been as far west as Hermann and as far south as St. Genevieve. In 2021, I went as far as Michigan for a friend's wedding! I'm completely open to your travel needs.

I've told you before and I'll say it again, I'm an absolute sucker for the classics. Guests of all ages hear the start of this song and BOOM packed dance floor engage!
Earth, Wind, and Fire
Shut Up And Dance

This one is a college era favorite of mine. It works as a sing-a-long, it has those pop punk feels from the 2000's going for it, this song just all around rocks.
WALK THE MOON
Ride Wit Me

While I'm not a St. Louis native, I have fallen in love with this city since moving here in 2015.Nelly being a St. Louis native means that your wedding isn't complete until your guests are shouting "MUST BE THE MONEY!"
Nelly
Man! I Feel Like A Woman

Growing up from a small country town I listened to a lot of country and rock and roll (thanks Mom and Dad). Shania brings the heat with her danceable country songs but nothing gets girls, and surprisingly guys, excited like hearing this country anthem.
Shania Twain
Somebody to Love

This one is near and dear to my heart. Obviously classics like Bohemian Rhapsody, Journey's Don't Stop Believin', even AC/DC's You Shook Me All Night Long are great weddings songs. I always like to play that second or third well known song by these kind of artists. Songs that collectively get the crowd slow dancing, fast dancing, circling up and shouting along with the lyrics are just the perfect way to create lasting wedding day memories!
